Join us at Mother of the Woods for a nourishing slow Sunday: a morning of yoga, deep rest, breakfast and connection in nature.

This is a slow living wellness experience designed to help you reset and come back into your body, your breath, and the natural world.

We begin with a 60-minute slow flow yoga practice, followed by a deeply restful yoga nidra meditation for nervous system reset and restoration.

After practice, we gather for a seasonal brunch either outdoors in the meadow or inside the beautiful dining room at Mother of the Wood’s (depending on the weather) with time to eat, rest, connect and be together.

• Herbal teas, coffee & botanical drinks

Nettle and cassava pancakes with strawberry compot, coconut cream, fresh mint and edible flowers

Everything is vegan and gluten free friendly

About Mother of the Woods Retreat

Mother of the Woods Retreat is set in the home of Senior Tantra Yoga Teacher and Celtic Wheel of the Year guide Emma Rose Lowe. This charming 300 year old Georgian Hall and converted Hayloft Studio is nestled in 3 acres of ancient trees and wild meadows, in the rolling hills of Co Down.

  • 10 minutes from Temple/Carryduff, Saintfield and Ballynahinch,

  • 10 minutes from Lisburn (8 minutes from the M1 junction at Lisburn)

  • 20/25 minutes from Belfast City Centre

    Full address is sent out on booking. Please note the location is not on a public transport route. The closest bus stop is approximately a 2 mile walk.
