Join me around the fire in the hearth of Mother of the Woods (a charming Georgian farmhouse in Co Down) to nourish your creativity and get in the mood for festive season with this Winter Willow Wreath making workshop.
Spend a relaxing evening beside the fire with family and friends, or come alone to get creative, enjoy a glass of something mulled and get into the spirit of the season.
During the session you will learn the art of how to weave your own willow wreath and then choose from a selection of all natural foliage and flowers, trailing greenery, frosted acorns and winter inspired blooms to create your bespoke masterpiece.
You will leave the workshop with a natural, beautiful one of a kind wreath made from your very own willow wreath hoop that is sustainable and you can redecorate for any season year upon year to come.
The perfect way to get in the mood for Winter
Accompanied by a glass of mulled wine or a bonfire hot chocolate, traditional festive homebakes to warm your bellies, you will also feed your hearts and minds, learning about the origins of the customs and rituals of Yuletide through Irish folklore and storytelling to get you in the mood for the season.

This Christmas Wreath Making is held at a beautiful Georgian farmhouse nestled in 2.5 acres of ancient trees and wild meadows, in the rolling hills of Co Down.
Located on a small townland just outside of Belfast called Cargacreevy which translate from old Irish ‘Carraig na craoibhe’ as ‘Rock of the great tree’.
Located 20 minutes from Belfast city centre and only 8 minutes from the M1 (at the Saintfield road roundabout junction). This venue is a 10 minute drive from Carryduff, Saintfield and Ballynahinch. The full address will be automatically sent out to you upon booking.
