This Women’s retreat is for you if you are yearning to come back home to yourself and your untouchable, untamable and unfuckable with, wild feminine nature. This is a call to all women who feel the ache in their bones to awaken their own healing, feminine power and be able to rest in the belonging of sisterhood.

Through Celtic, Tantric and Shamanic practice, Plant Wisdom, Women's Mystery teachings, Ritual, Ceremony and Community we will explore the archetypes of the bean feasa (wise woman), the bean leighis (medicine woman) and of course the wild enchantress within for you to deepen your intuition, ignite your creativity and unleash your authentic expression to embody the wild woman that you truly are.

This experience will be deeply nourishing. We will harness the energies available in the natural world at the time of Lughnasagh in the Celtic Wheel so that you may recalibrate and refuel for the months ahead as the year slowly begins to fade.

Venue ::: Mother of the Woods

The retreat is held at a beautiful, spacious Georgian Hall nestled in 2.5 acres of ancient trees and wild meadows, in the rolling hills of Co Down.

Located on a small townland just outside of Belfast called Cargacreevy which translate from old Irish ‘Carraig na craoibhe’ as ‘Rock of the great tree’. Trees were sacred to the ancient ancestors and central to Celtic mythology and spirituality, and rocks were often gathering places for worship, which makes this old townland quite special.

The full address will be sent out upon booking but in terms of you locating yourself, the venue is an 8 minute drive from the M1 Saintfield Road roundabout, 20 minutes outside Belfast city centre, 10 minutes from Saintfield/Ballynahinch.

A Bealtaine event :::

For those yearning to connect to the indigenous feminine wisdom of Ireland and remember how wildness might have tasted on the tongues of our ancestors, this women’s retreat falls at the Celtic celebration of Bealtaine - the beginning of Summer in the Celtic Wheel of the Year that commences the season of the wild beauty, sensuality and abundance in the natural world.

The wild woman owns her sexual and creative power, embodies her feminine mystique and trusts her intuition. Underneath the layers of conditioning and generational trauma of womanhood where we have learnt to stay safe by staying quiet, playing small and giving away our pleasure and our power dwells the deep feminine and she is inviting you to remember now your own fiery, fierce force. Yes! She already lives within you, all you have to do is remember Her.

An invitation into Sisterhood

This container is designed to allow women to feel and heal places that cannot be reached alone. It is an invitation to drop the comparisons, judgement and shaming of other women and heal the inner witch, bitch and sisterhood wound that patriarchy has beaten into us all and instead and rise together. So if you have been yearning for the beating drum of kindred hearts, the smell of mossy Earth and sacred fire, dancing under an open sky, and the freedom to express all parts of your being, then this retreat is for you.
